A place that shapes everything we do.

Furia Selección was born from a family of farmers in Valencia, with our own farm in Oliva. The land, water, climate and Mediterranean are part of our production.

Our origin is not simply a location.

It is a way of producing.

Mediterranean Origins

Our farm faces the Mediterranean and is directly influenced by it.

Its breezes, humidity, temperatures, rain, wind and changing seasons are all part of the environment in which our trees grow.

No season is exactly the same as the one before.

Nature never repeats a season.

A SHARED LANDSCAPE

A protected natural environment

Our farm is linked to the Parc Natural de la Marjal de Pego-Oliva, where agriculture, water, vegetation and wildlife coexist in the same territory.

Working here entails controls, restrictions, permits and a way of producing that is compatible with protecting the environment.

We do not grow in spite of the environment.
We grow within it.

FIRST AND ONLY AVOCADO PRODUCERS

When this certification was granted, the certifying body confirmed that we were the first and only avocado producers to hold it.

We do not want “organic”, “natural” or “Natural Park” to be merely fine words. We want to be able to substantiate them.

LEARNING THE LAND

Our land also demands learning.

We grow on soil with a significant clay content, which is particularly demanding for avocados because of its capacity to retain water and the tree’s need for aeration and drainage.

Learning how to work it has required time, observation and control.

The soil, too, is part of the origin.

The farm continues to grow. Mango and dragon fruit are now among our crops, still in development and not yet in commercial production.

Where are Furia Selección avocados grown?
En nuestra finca de la Comunidad Valenciana, vinculada al Parque Natural de la Marjal de Pego-Oliva y abierta directamente al mar Mediterráneo.
What does it mean to grow avocados within a Natural Park?
Significa cultivar dentro de un entorno protegido, asumir sus controles y adaptar determinadas actuaciones para respetar el agua, la vegetación, la fauna y el equilibrio del ecosistema.
What certifications do our avocados hold?
La producción cuenta con certificación ecológica, el reconocimiento ecológico europeo correspondiente y certificación vinculada al entorno natural protegido. Los documentos y sellos pueden consultarse en nuestra página de Certificaciones.
What does certified organic avocado mean?
Significa que la producción se realiza conforme a las normas aplicables a la agricultura ecológica y está sometida a controles de una entidad certificadora autorizada.
How does the Mediterranean climate influence avocado cultivation?
La finca recibe directamente sus brisas. El clima, la humedad, las temperaturas y la proximidad del mar forman parte del entorno en el que crecen nuestros árboles.
How does clay soil influence avocado cultivation?
Es el suelo de nuestra finca. La arcilla retiene agua y determinados nutrientes y exige un manejo especialmente cuidadoso del drenaje y la aireación.
Why is one growing season never exactly the same as another?
Porque cambian la lluvia, el viento, la humedad, el calor y el frío. La agricultura trabaja con la naturaleza, no con un calendario comercial idéntico cada año.
What does “Mediterranean Origins” mean to Furia Selección?
Significa que el territorio no es una frase comercial: la tierra, el clima, el agua y las brisas del Mediterráneo condicionan de forma real nuestra manera de producir.
What is the difference between an organic avocado and a conventional one?
El ecológico se produce bajo una normativa específica y controles de certificación que regulan, entre otros aspectos, las prácticas y los insumos permitidos durante el cultivo.
Why can an organic avocado have small marks on its skin?
La fruta real no fabrica piezas idénticas. Una pequeña marca superficial puede formar parte de su evolución en el árbol sin reducir necesariamente la calidad del fruto interior.
